Joey and Elvin found homes and wonderful families

Few days ago, Eileen introduced Mr Ramanathen, a retiree who came to the shelter to adopt Joey, his wife fell in love with Joey at first sight and refused to look further.
Mr. Rama must be very happy with our dogs, so he recommended his son , Mr Siva to come and view our dogs also. Mr Siva, his lovely wife and 2 sons picked Alvin because he was so big and so handsome . Meng Yuet would miss Alvin very much because she has been taking care of him for so long, it was hard to say goodbye.
Mr Rama joked that he has started to recommend people to adopt our dogs and Mrs Lai promised to give him some commission if he keeps bringing people back. He laughed!
Well, at least Mr. Rama and his family has adopted 2 big dogs from us!

Happy adoptions like this is what keeps us going. Rehoming dogs at our shelter is a never ending job. But to see them with their new families, it really is a very happy sight.

Mindy has been adopted!

We are surrounded with such great news recently. Some of our dogs were adopted during the adoption drive at IOI mall and also at the shelter. Even better news that Mindy has been adopted! Mindy was fostered by Mrs Lai with loads of TLC. She has been adopted by Mrs Lai's neighbour. Now their dog Abby has a new friend whom she can play with and get some exercise. here's some pictures taken at Mindy's new home. Mindy is happy that she has a big sister now who will look after her. This is Abby, the big sister. Mindy is the brown puppy.

This is such great news that Mindy has found a good home and great company with Abby. We hope more dogs will have this privilege.

Overcrowded

Our shed are seriously overcrowded.

For every dog that is adopted, we’re getting 5 new dogs.

To some of you whom had called for help on some strays at your place, we’re terribly sorry that we’re not able to help keep the dogs as we already have new intakes ( not one but several ) every week from our dedicated caretaker, Uncle Wong/Aunty Kiew.

We’re really happy to know that there are many kind souls out there who’s been feeding the strays. You all are angels, please continue making a difference for these strays!

New addition to the shed in just 2 weeks!

4 huge dogs! I can’t really tell them apart and some pictures below may be of the same dog.. too many dogs and limited brain memory space @_@

Have you met Snoopy?

IMG_5943  IMG_5945

This cheerful gal with a bright smile is Snoopy! Ain’t she a sunshine?

She was rescued from Cheras by a kind uncle just 2 days before our adoption drive.

She’s got a bit of injury on her neck and her back but it never dampen her mood. Such a darling!

And it so happen that this is the same dog that Vien has been feeding at Cheras too..

Vien was so worried when she didn’t see Snoopy in Cheras anymore. What a relief it is for her to see Snoopy here.

Snoopy love being hugs!! And she would show her appreciation by excessive licking! *AaaAWWW*

Snoopy is still single and available, so drop us an email or call if you want to give her a home.

BiBi the Lucky Girl

I managed to watch the arrival of Bibi before I rushed home for dinner on Sunday…

P1050989When I saw this mama dog on the truck, I was puzzled. I was wondering how did Bobbie get on the truck?
Just in case you do not know who is Bobbie, please click here.

P1050993 P1050992
Auntie Kiew nicknamed her Bibi as she looks like Bobbie.

P1050990 P1050991
Poor Bibi was having car sick… vomitting n drooling throughout the trip from Port Klang to Old Klang Road.

P1060020

This uncle called for help when the municipal gonna catch this poor girl. Uncle been feeding Bibi near an abandoned warehouse in Port Klang for quite some time. He then chartered this green-coloured lorry & paid over RM100 to bring BiBi and pups to the shed. Mrs Lai guide them over trillions times but the lorry driver just never find his way to the shed.

** Uncle may not have the knowledge of spaying/neutering the mama dog. But I am sure most of the blog readers (yes, You!) know what is spay-neuter. Be a responsible owner, spay-neuter your pet! **

P1060007 P1050997
Oh my… How many pups are in the box?

1…2…3..4..5..6…
They are all 6 of them!!!

P1050999  P1060002 P1060003   P1060004 P1060005 P1060006
They are all so cute & adorable…  They look so tiny n malnourished
Mind you! By not knowing who their father is, does not make them PARIAH dogs!!!

P1060011P1060009
Auntie Kiew busy doing calculations….
16 dogs out on Saturday Adoption Drive…. 1+6 dogs in on Sunday!
and our another rescued mama dog Girlie just delivered 6 pups on Saturday.
So its 16 out, 13 in….

 P1060012 P1060013    P1060014 P1060015
No… Uncle, you should jump down from the truck first… Then only you hold Bibi >_<

P1060017 P1060018 P1060019
Mrs Lai then guided uncle on how to hold Bibi….

No worries Bibi… You and your 6 pups are now in good hands. We will try our best to take care of all of u =)

We have now rescued all of them. Please let us know how you could help us to help the furry friends?
We seriously need volunteers to help sending the pups n dogs to the vet, bathing them, cleaning the shed, feeding them, help us build the shelter….
