Rawf Rawf…Hello Hello… welcome to our humble home.

It may not look much to you, but to us, it is our sanctuary. It is here that we receive lots of love from the kindred souls that take care and spend time with us.

We also know we will never starved.

We need not worry about looking for food or running from the utterly scary people that use rope or stun gun to catch us.

We really need people to come help feed us and clean our home.. because our paws are so small we are not able to clean after our poo-poo or wash the dish after we’re fed.

We won’t be able to pay with money, but , we can shower you with lots of love and licking.

We love our home, but we never stop wishing for a real home with real family. We also wish to lighten the burden of the kind people who took care of us.. and there are so many more of our friends out there whom need to be saved.

Yes yes.. we’re very proud of our team of enthusiastic receptionist. Millie used to be the head of receptionist but she had been rehomed.

But worry not, there’re still many of us who love our job… especially if you come with food *yum yum*

 

 

Our Lobby:

This is where we receive our visitors, take afternoon naps, get our weekly massage from Nicole 姐姐 and also our storage area.

Where we have our bath (some of us likey, some of us don’t likey :D ) and where our dirty laundry and dishes get cleaned.

We need to feed the pup cough medicine.. but am not able to locate the syringe..

But worry not, Aunty Kiew manage to find a straw, cut it shorter and voila, we got ourselves a “manual” syringe!

ps: We did manage to locate the syringe in the end >_<

 

Aunty Kiew had also did some upgrade the Girlie’s place.  It was previously not properly floored and can be quite stuffy.

Aunty Kiew inserted pieces of plank to serve as floor, and she changed the “door” so that it’s more stylish and can provide more air ventilation plus Girlie and pup can get some sunlight too =)

  

 

It’s snowing

Yes, it’s snowing in the shed.. thanks to the bored furrizens with too much time and nothing much to do.

Lesson learnt: Never, ever, give soft toy or cushion to dogs… especially puppies.

 

The sight that greets me when i arrived at the shed… oh dear..

 

Checking the extents of the “damage”… luckily only the “lobby” is affected.

Hungry Munchy

Holiday mood...but we have more to worry

Now we are entering the last month of the year and this is the month that is normally filled with fun and joy...everybody is in their holiday mood with festive season around the corner!!

As usual, we are still coping with the constraint and limitation we are facing in the shed. Being a holiday season meaning this is a rainy season too. Our shed will get flooded when there is heavy down pour. However, on the other hand, the rain also does help us in solving the water problem (we have no water supply, we only rely on rain water for all the cleaning work)

What worry us more is the coming dry season, how are we going to source for water supply if there is no rain. In dry season we may not be able to use clothes as too much water is needed to wash them. Thanks to Mrs Lai who highlighted this issue. And for the fact, if there is no rain for a 2 consecutive day, we have to be careful in order not to waste. So, we have to plan ahead and do something.

Last Sunday, Mrs Lai, Kim and Aunty Kiew approached the prawn fishing Indian boss (Deva) and talked to him about this problem. (If you have been to our dog shed, the prawn fishing pond is just a stone throw away from the temple)He is so kind to propose that we put up a tanki. Deva will help us on this and we can get water supply from him. Though he said the water is free of charge but we decided we should pay him some money. At the same time, Mrs Lai called the Chairman of the temple and he said we can put it across the drain at the other side where the bungalow sheds are located as they will do some extension for a bathroom and a kitchen for their workers and people who come to visit the temple.

We will be using old iron stand and old tanki supplied by Deva and he will do it up for us, we will reimburse him once it is done.

Hopefully everything go smoothly so that our doggies will have constant supply of water and a clean place to stay.

Wasted Effort 0r Abandoned Site????

What worries us became a reality. It was a real waste of our funds… When it rains the mini sheds are flooded, the carpets are all wet. When its hot and sunny its like a heated oven as there is no ventilation in it. Our main concern is, all the doggies doesn’t want to stay there too! Haiz…. ..wasted effort but what choice do we have. We do not want to create an unhappy atmosphere with the caretaker of the temple when he insisted to extend the shed…What shall we do??? Any solutions or we just have to live with it……

Tour to the shed

Let's go for a tour to the dog shed in the temple. The chair person of the temple committee is kind enough to allow Aunty Kiew a placing of 30 pups.

The temple has no water installation, so Aunty Kiew has to rely on rain water, see the connection of the piping, which is link to the gutter from the roof top



Lots of cleaning work to do, all rely on the rain water...please come and help, if you are able to...
