Attached are some pictures taken during the dressing of Caramel’s wounds procedure.

The wound is healing nicely as can be seen from the very smooth surface. The size of the wound has also reduced. Caramel took it all in her stride when Dr Goh did the dressing for her and did not whine nor struggle.

Her paws were quite badly torn at first but are now recovering too!

We have also received further good news, Dr. Goh mentioned that Caramel can be discharged anytime now. Her wound still needs to be cleaned and dressed daily , as such one of our volunteers will be fostering Caramel till the wound is completely healed. The duration could take another 2-3 months.

We will continue to raise funds for Caramel’s medical bill as her treatment is still ongoing. Once Caramel has fully recovered, a summary report will be published to all kind donors and well wishers.

With this, we would like to say another big round of THANK YOU to all you kind souls out there who have helped Caramel come a long way! Caramel knows she’s being loved by many, if this sweet natured gal could speak human language , we reckon these would be her exact words:
Red heartI love you all from the bottom of my heart and thank you very muchie for seeing me through this ordealRed heart

Stay tough and get well soon, Caramel!! I shudder to think of the pain that she must have gone through everytime she goes through the wound cleaning process. Hats off to the kind volunteer that will be fostering her!
