Happy Home for Mei Mei ( now renamed Tammy )

Another happy ending for one lucky furrizen =)

Our grateful thanks to the adopted, SK and Mable for giving Mei Mei a loving and happy Home.

And many thanks to Eileen for your help :D

Very Happy updates from Eileen :

I visited Mei Mei at her new hone in Kota Kemuning last Friday 17 June.

She has been renamed Tammy by her adopter SK and Mable.

She has a new sister, also adopted by the couple early May, renamed Chloe.

Tammy was very shy and reserve the first few days in her new home but was eventually won over by her adopters' love and patience.

They said Tammy is a very good girl and a very alert watchdog. Tammy and Chloe are the best of friends who play together and have fun under the sun.

Here are some pictures. In the last picture, you can see both girls are very attached to SK.How wonderful if all our dogs have happy endings like this.

~We love you~

Mei Mei is now the ‘parkour’ dog

Mei Mei is no longer the sensible “surrogate” mum that she used to be..

Since all her pups has been adopted, she has been busy gaining weight, and gaining quite a reputation as an avid athlete and her cheekiness :D

~ Mei Mei, then ~

Mei Mei’s last 2 biological pups are adopted!

Yup, Mei Mei’s last 2 ‘biological pups are adopted. Many many thanks to Mr Mah for giving them a loving home!

Paying a visit to the Surrogate

After hearing so many wonderful thing about Mei Mei, I can hardly wait to visit her and bring some yummy food for her!

~Mei Mei is one graceful hostess! She came running to greet me! aAAawww… and I see that her two pups took after her too :D ~

Hi Hi.. did you bring us any special treats for us…

Ooopsss.. Errr.. Yeah but it’s for ur mummy only.. Sorry..

Your mummy need to eat more as she is feeding you and the rest of the pups milk..

I will make you some warm milk later ok?

I watched in amazement as I see Mei Mei take a nibble or two at the canned food and let the pups finish the rest! Mei Mei, you’re such an angel! All of us hope and pray that you will find a home and family that is as loving and kind as you!

The Surrogate

This post is dedicated to the wonderful mummy, Mei Mei!

Beside being a fantastic mum that look after her pups very lovingly and well, she is also the selfless surrogate mum to another 10 pups.. 10 very hungry and malnourished pups!

Read about Mei Mei and her four ‘biological’ pups here =)

One week before the IOI adoption drive, Mei Mei’s got a surprise in the form of 7 newly rescued pups from 2 dog lovers.

*Sigh*

Our shed is seriously overpopulated therefore it’s not a suitable place to put very young pups ( they’re only 3 weeks old ) or  any more dogs for that matter. But how can we say no to 7 very hungry and weak looking pups.. in a pail.. so Uncle Wong, Aunty Kiew, Richard, Mrs Lai and Ming Yuet who were there at the shed quickly assemble an extended ‘home’ at Mei Mei’s temporary shelter outside the shed, and then got busy cleaning ticks and fleas.. pheww…

Mei Mei’s 2 very kawaii black pups were successfully adopted during our IOI adoption drive (Yay!!)

But during the adoption drive, we’re again awarded with 3 more tiny teeny pups from a rescuer ( in a pail again! Seems like pail is the new carrier for pups nowadays >_< )

Lucky for us Mrs Lai helped to foster the pups until they’re healthier to be put into Wonder Mummy Mei Mei’s residence.

Phew… I sort of lost count how many pups is Mei Mei feeding already.. Her 2 own brown pups, 7 pups in pail, and another 3 pups in pail…Wowww..

~ There’s never short of pups clinging on to Mei Mei for milk ~

So impressed and touched by Mei Mei’s love for the pups, Mrs Lai and Ming Yuet offer her a good piece of meat.. but being a good mum that she is, Mei Mei let all the pups have the meat… How selfless of her!
