Dot Dot
First letter
Hi Second Chance,
Dot Dot had his 1st vet visit today and the vet declared
him healthy as ever. However, I still insist on full blood test to further
confirm that he is healthy. According to the vet and the medical card that I have
received, Dot Dot is more than a year old. He is most probably 2-3 years old
based on the record and the built up of tartar at this teeth. Due to this, he would
need scaling to improve his bad breath. Hence, I would need to take him yet again to
the vet soon after. Dot Dot is afraid of the visit and other bigger dogs He peed
on my leg and the floor even though I have toilet trained him. The vet said that
Dot Dot only weighs 1.6kg! The vet
told me that it is possible to neuter any puppy or dog of any weight! If so, I would need to castrate him soon!
Dot Dot’s daily life style includes eat , sleep, play and
eat, sleep yet again. He bathes at least twice per week as he is placed
indoors. So far he has learned a few tricks and toilet trained within the 1st 3
days!! (see pic). The tricks include sit (I think previously the owner has
taught him), hand ( I think this too), down, up, high five, fetch his chew bone
and put on my hand, left hand and right hand. Smart little fella! My mum taught
him 'out' as she needs him to stay at the terrace area when she needs to mop
the floor. the terrace area is just after my living hall.
Stay tuned for more of his updates when I put some more weight on him!!
He is way too light!!

No, I didn’t give Dot Dot a new name. Since he is comfortable
and responds to that name. I will just keep that name, no point confuse him and
besides it suits him.
I have received the medical card and brought him to the vet
with it as stated in the previous email. The vet told me that Dot Dot was vaccinated
/dewormed but the sticker there didn’t indicate partial of full jab. Anyhow, I
have already bought him heartguard and will introduce the 'tasty treat' this
coming Saturday.
Today I will receive his full medical report and make an appointment
for his scaling this Saturday if possible. Hopefully he has a clean bill of
health as I discovered greenish and bloody stools last night ( will monitor again). My Mum said it could most probably due to too
frighten with the vet visit!
Regards,
Pei Ping
