This picture of Maggie siting in a tray was taken in Mrs. Lai's house when she fostered her. Wasn't she cute and adorable? Who will know that a puppy from the streets, will soon change a woman's and her son's life?
She was adopted when only 3 mth old, and now she is 7-8 mth old. At first Mrs. Lai thought she was blind as she always turned around in circles (sometimes more than 20 circles!). But luckily she is not, according to Ivan (adopter's son), she sees very well as she can catch balls.
Maggie was adopted from us a few months ago and she has been renamed Poppy by the adopter, Ange. She and her son Ivan are very happy to have Poppy in their life. Here is what they said:-
"Thank you for introducing Poppy to us. She is a joy in our home. My mum is really happy with her. Poppy still runs in circles but I thinks it is her nature. Her eye sight is pretty good as she is very accurate in catching the ball I throw at her. She is quiet but barks at dogs that pass our house. She is very alert at night but sleeps during the day! My mum is always very worried if Poppy shows slightest signs of unwell !"
Here is a picture of the kind-hearted people who accepted Poppy into their new lives!! Hooray!
It's amazing that no matter what dog you adopt, as long as you open your heart to them, they will do the same. It is just beautiful to see humans and animals connect.
