For adoption: Scamp, the dog with the soulful eyes

Scamp, this 6-year old Australian Cattle and Spitz mix, was brought to the Paws Mission adoption drive by KL Pooch Rescue on the day of the event itself - which meant he was surrounded by lots of unfamiliar people and dogs. Instead of being stressed, which wouldn't have been surprising at all, he was so extremely gentle and accommodating about everything.

On top of that, he is beautifully behaved and well-mannered - whenever anyone would come near his pen, he would immediately sit down (if he was standing) or sit up straight (if he was lying down), and gaze up at the person with the most unflinching, attentive, and adoring eyes.

Because of his age, Scamp is very mild, gentle, and quiet, and would make a wonderful house pet, with probably little training required.

On the day of the drive we were really hoping to see him adopted because out of all the dogs there, he was among the most well-adjusted and comfortable with humans. But because most people wanted a smaller dog, he was mostly ignored... until the end of the day when a passer-by decided to adopt him, to our delight.

However, when one of the volunteers followed him back to his house they were met by strong objection from the adopter's parents, and so Spam is once again homeless.

With his charming personality, it would be a pity for him not to find a good home, so if you or anyone you know are looking for or could do with a companion pet especially for families with young kids or elderly parents, do consider adopting this sweetheart?
