Some Updates

P5090065

Remember Tabby? Sai E’s grandson,Bobby’s son, one of the 3 riverside babies, he  has got mummy worried. He was shedding tonnes and tonnes of hair and fur on both side of his body. Mummy did everything she could as  advised. Clean Tabby’s surrounding, bath him with all sorts of medicated shampoo and fed him what was best for him. New hair that grew too were brittle. It still does not work for him. He was loosing weight too. After a series of check up he was diagnosed to be having hypothyroidism.

Hypothyroidism is the condition that occurs when not enough thyroid hormones are produced.Hypothyroidism causes a wide variety of symptoms, but is often suspected in dogs that have trouble with weight gain or obesity and suffer from hair loss and skin problems.

Tabby is prescribed synthetic thyroid hormone (thyroxine), hopefully he will not have to take it  for the rest of his life.

Thanks to mummy for not giving up on him.
